Ingredients:
- 1/2 onion (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Guava Jam
- 1/4 teaspoon Five Spice Powder
- 1/4 cup Hoisin Sauce
- 1/4 cup Oyster Sauce
- 1/4 cup "For J's" Kiawe Liquid Smoke
- 1/4 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
Instructions:
- Add oil in pot and sauté onions.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil then lower temperature to medium-low.
- Simmer for at least an hour.
- Let mixture cool.
- Put in blender until sauce is smooth.
