Recipes"For J's" Pickled Onions (Portuguese Style)
Ingredients:
4 pounds sweet onions
1 1/2 cups vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
2 Tablespoons "For J's" Hawaiian Chili Pepper Sea Salt or "For J’s" Garlic Sea Salt
1/4 cup sugar
4 clove garlic, chopped
Instructions:
Cut onions into wedges.
Put into glass jars and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients until salt and sugar is dissolved.
Pour liquid over onions.
Cover and let stand for 24 hours, then store in refrigerator.
*May add 3 crushed Hawaiian Chili Peppers for more heat.
"For J's" Sweet Hawaiian Pickled Onions
Ingredients:
5 pounds sweet onions
2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
2 Tablespoons "For J's" Hawaiian Chili Pepper Sea Salt or "For J's" Garlic Sea Salt
1 cup sugar
4 clove garlic, chopped
Directions:

"For J's" Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
2 lb potatoes
3/4 cup dehydrated potato flakes
1 block butter (1/2 cup)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon "For J's" Garlic Sea Salt
Instructions:
Boil Potatoes till soft, drain, and put into a bowl and mash, set aside.
Saute garlic in butter, set aside.
Prepare dehydrated potato flakes by following package instructions. Use a portion of melted garlic butter and evaporated milk.
In a large mixing bowl, combine both prepared and boiled/mashed potatoes.
Mix in Garlic Sea Salt and gradually add remaining melted garlic butter and milk.
"For J's" Spanish Rice
Ingredients: 2 lb ground beef 3 teaspoon "For J's" Hawaiian Chili Pepper Sea Salt 4 cloves garlic (minced) 1 onion (chopped) 1 green bell pepper (chopped) 1 teaspoon chili powder 4 bay leaves 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes 2 cans (8 oz) tomato sauce 1 can chicken broth 2 cubes beef bouillon 4 cup uncooked rice (to be cooked with 4 cups water) 2 cup grated cheddar cheese Instructions: In pot or rice cooker.
